Pharma scrips gain on selective buying by FIIs

The Bombay Stock Exchange on the first trading day of the week (Tuesday 26) closed at 3466.25 on account of low institutional participation. However, on Thursday 28, the market witnessed heavy buying by institutions of select pharma stocks. On Wednesday, the sensex closed at 3,459, registering a loss of 7 points and 3 points gain against Monday’s close.
