Sorento Healthcare wins nine Rx Club Awards
Sorento healthcare has won one silver, one gold and seven awards of excellence in the Rx Club Awards for 2009. Sorento has always been among the leading healthcare communication agencies of the industry.
The agency’s work on brand Folliderm (a solution for hair-loss) belonging to Piramal Healthcare got the much sought after gold. It was an ambient media entry, where a face of a man was stuck such on an elevator, that every time the doors would open, the hair used to pull away from the head, making it look bald. The Silver went to a poster created for Wockhardt Oncology for World Cancer Day. It showed a baby pacifier. But instead of a mouthpiece it was attached to a burning cigarette. All nine awards have been won on nine different brands.
Susan Josi, Managing Partner, Sorento said, “We are very proud of what we have achieved. We are not a part of any big agency network, nor are we just a creative hot-shop. Yet to achieve such creative glory is indeed special.”
On the same lines, Rajesh Rai, ECD, Sorento Healthcare, said, “It is an example about how any brand can produce communication that is out-of-the-box! Be it a highly cluttered or niche segment, every brand can find its voice, with the right creative hook.”
Sorento is one of the leading healthcare agency in India with expertise in the specialised area of healthcare communications addressing the needs of pharmaceutical, OTC and social marketing healthcare clients. The global awards are recognised as the only awards dedicated to excellence in healthcare communications on an international basis. The mission of the global awards is to lift the perception of creativity above clever headlines and smart design, and to explore the feelings and emotions transmitted between a message’s creator and its recipient. The intellectual and emotional achievement of communication transcends the barriers of distance, language and culture.
