IPM opens second branch in Mumbai’s Western suburbs
Institute of Pharmaceutical Management (IPM)—a pioneering training institute located in one of Mumbai’s central suburbs, Dombivli—completed a year on 8th September. In the past year over 100 candidates registered for training courses in quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA) and regulatory affairs (RA) with IPM. The students were from multinational and reputed Indian pharma companies as well as fresh graduates and post-graduates from science and pharmacy streams.
After running these courses successfully in Mumbai’s Central suburb, IPM felt the need to open a second branch in the Western suburbs as well and inaugurated its second branch in Mulund in November. According to a note from the Institute, admissions for the new branch are in progress. The faculties from renowned pharma industries will deliver the lectures on various topics related to RA, QC and QA.
Syllabus of RA covers process of drug development, GMP norms, DMF and dossier submission to regulated markets like Europe, US, Canada etc, relevant ICH quality guidelines, eCTD, handling post approval changes, patent laws in India and US etc.
IPM has an international enrollment for its course. Thus, the institute believes that its educational programmes will help the industry to find the quality talent to meet the ever increasing demand and will also give a competitive edge to the students seeking jobs in the fast growing industry.
IPM is appointed as the faculty coordinator by Manipal University for its new launch of ‘Diploma in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs’ course in Malad, Mumbai.
IPM has also started a new segment through which services like consultancy to pharmaceutical industries in GMP documentation, quality audits; on-site training to industrial professionals, validations, and assistance in regulatory submissions is provided.
IPM is thus committed to offer cost-effective and time-bound services to the pharma industry.
