PEXA to offer PG diploma in clinico-regulatory affairs

A unique course for all those who, want to make a career in ’Drug Development & Clinical research’ got underway at Ruia College, Mumbai, said a press release. The most distinguishing feature of this six month programme is the importance and emphasis given to ’Regulatory’ and ’Patent Law’ which were hitherto not covered by most such courses currently on the scene, informed the release.
The course is a brainchild of Pharmaceutical Experts Association (PEXA), the multidisciplinary experts being drawn from amongst the industry professionals & Academia. Inaugurating the session Dr Satish Bhatia, President of Wellquest Laboratories highlighted the global research scenario, India’s potential to contribute and need for trained hands.
Putting it differently, Dr Tipnis, corporate advisor, The Medicine Shoppe, congratulated PEXA for having taken the initiative for providing the ’software’ India always lacked in the field of clinical research.
He also strongly appreciated inclusion of regulatory and Patent Law in the course curriculum, the release added.
